Diese Demoversion hab ich ein paar Tage nachdem das Lied fertig war aufgenommen. Ihr werdet allerdings bemerken, dass sie den Mittelteil noch nicht enthält. Der war nämlich zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme noch nicht geplant. Beim Probieren mit der Band hab ich dann gefunden, dass man in der Mitte des Liedes noch etwas Kreatives (insbesondere für den Übergang zum Solo) hineinbringen müsste. Also hab ich den Mittelteil dann nachträglich dazugeschrieben.
Demoversionen wie diese dienen mir zum Herausfinden, wie gut ein Lied ist, d.h. eventuelle harmonische oder auch melodische Schwächen zu erkennen. Sie sind deshalb fast nie perfekt. Nicht alle Töne sind richtig getroffen, die Betonungen passen nicht zusammen, aber das stört mich hier nicht, da es nur um den Gesamteindruck geht. Meist entsteht so eine Aufnahme auch innerhalb weinger Stunden. Wie schon bei der zweiten Single (und Someday I'll Be The One) dient diese mp3 also eher als Blick hinter die Kulissen und nicht so sehr als extra produzierter Bonustrack.
