Where They Die (Demo)

From the morning 'till the sun has sunken down
If you.re walking by you.ll notice a sound
The laughter and the calls of victory driftin'
 through a window above
make a difference in a world that.s never seen
 much love
There's light but for the night they're not
 gonna stay
It's just where they play

There's a black spot in a corner up the street
They stream into the hall where they all meet
The lights go out, a gun, a shout, they're all
 lyin' down on the floor
Today the world is gonna see something it's
 never seen before
It's a silent place covered by night
Where they fight

Hush now, baby, make no noise, it's best if
 they don't hear you
Hush now, darlin', there ain't no choice, it's
best if they don't come near you

Hush now, baby, make no noise, it's best if
 they don't hear you
Hush now, darlin', there ain't no choice, it's
best if they don't come near you

It's raining but there ain't no water in the
 house
There's only one thing to do in the long dark
 hours
They're holdin' on and holdin' on to something
 that just ain't there
When the world comes down they've stopped to
 think or care
There's no dream to wake up and no breath left
 to cry
Where they die

B-Sides
