Bought And Sold ist der weiteste Schritt in Richtung der Einbeziehung elektronischer Effekte auf dem Album. Dadurch, dass die Drum Loops nicht einfach nur den Rhythmus unterstützen, sondern wesentlicher Bestandteil des Liedes sind, begaben wir uns live auch in die volle Abhängigkeit eines Zuspielgeräts. Zum einen war es jedoch für uns spannend, auf diese Art einen modernen Sound zu kreieren, zum anderen meinen wir, dass es sich wahrlich gelohnt hat. Bought And Sold ist in unseren Augen eines der atmosphärischsten und zugleich kräftigstes Blended Lieder überhaupt.
Inhaltlich ist es eine Geschichte über Enttäuschung, Verrat und Betrug. Der Charakter entdeckt im Lauf des Liedes, dass einer seiner besten Freunde für die Misere, in der er steckt, mitverantwortlich ist.
