Diese Nummer ist ganz einfach off the edge. Völlig losgelöst von sämtlichen Kompromissen. Mächtiger Sound, unendlicher drive, hart, schwungvoll. Ein Live-Renner, bei dem wir es geschafft haben das Feeling auf die CD zu bekommen. Großartig gesungen.
Mit einem Aufschei setzt die erste Strophe ein, nach einem Beginn, der keine Zweifel offen lässt, was folgen wird. Immer wieder haben wir Zwischensolos eingebaut die ein wenig dem klassischen Rock n Roll gefladert wurden, aber an das Hauptsolo angelehnt sind. Dieses Hauptsolo wiederum entsprang noch den Fingern von Gregor (zu einem bedeutenden Teil zumindest).
Der Refrain ist genau so positioniert wie man es nicht erwartet. Nach so kraftvollem Beginn fragt man sich, wie man den Refrain noch steigern soll. Genau das haben wir nicht getan und den Spieß mal umgedreht. Steht dem Lied total gut und fällt kaum auf.
Text einfach selbst lesen. Ich glaube jeder von uns hat alles aus sich herausgeholt, um dem Lied diesen Charakter zu geben, den es nun hat.
