Dieses Lied zählt zu denen, die meiner Meinung nach auf One Way am besten gelungen sind.
Hier ist es schwer zu sagen, ob es sich um einen ruhigen oder um einen druckvollen Song handelt, da sich One Last Time von Strophe zu Strophe mehr aufbaut und immer mehr an Druck gewinnt.
Der Refrain wird durch eine laute, verzerrte Gitarre geprägt, die den Song dann doch zu keiner Kuschel-Nummer macht (dieses Gebiet decken andere Lieder auf dem Album ab).
Durch das relativ ruhige Gitarren-Solo unterscheidet sich One Last Time von den meisten anderen Titel auf One Way und bringt dadurch auch arrangementtechnisch noch mehr Abwechslung in das ohnehin absolut nicht einseitige 63-Minuten-Album.
