Bedroom Day

Well the light went out at five a.m., we
were lucky to get back home
The day'd been long, the night even longer,
we were tired, baby, to the bone
Threw away my shirt, got rid o' my pants
and kicked the shoes off my feet
Fell over like a board and was asleep

In my dreams I could see Joe and Dave again
dancing on the table all night
The drinks were cheap, the music loud,
every eye was a shining light
The night went hot when it finally got to
the part with the woman in red
My phone's ringing telling me I should be
 outta bed

Well I'm on my way, yeah I'm on my way
The sun's trying to fight its way through
the drawn blinds but it can't yet reach my
 head
And I'm on my way, yeah I'm on my way
I can't help it but it kinda feels like one
 of those bedroom days

Ain't it funny how time flies, man, when
you think nothing whatsoever can go wrong
You don't care you gotta get up early next day
but in the morning you sing a different song
The night just seems to go on and on as you
listen to what every one tells
I'm lying here but I should be somewhere else

Well I'm on my way, yeah I'm on my way
The sun's trying to fight its way through the
drawn blinds but it can't yet reach my head
And I'm on my way, yeah I'm on my way
I can't help it but it kinda feels like one
 of those bedroom days

Just one more minute, baby, and I'll be right
 in the shower
Wash the sleep off my face and get out into
 the crowd
One more second, darling, and I'll be right
 outta the house
But it's too late anyway, it's the perfect
 day to chill out

Well I'm on my way, yeah I'm on my way
The sun's trying to fight its way through the
drawn blinds but it can't yet reach my head
And I'm on my way, yeah I'm on my way
I can't help it but it kinda feels like one
 of those?

Well I'm on my way, yeah I'm on my way
The sun's trying to fight its way through the
drawn blinds but it can't yet reach my head
And I'm on my way, yeah I'm on my way
I can't help it but it kinda feels like one
 of those bedroom days

Unplugged 5.1
